Hello, Senpais!

It's finally happening! Our team has reunited to get this first of the Seriously Senpai games completed. This has been a long journey to get here, so here's a bit of a recap. We first came together for Yuri Jam 2016, where we got a whole lot of art done but were not able to complete a game in time for the deadline. The game was sporadically worked on by Dev, creator of the Seriously Senpai universe, but it was eventually decided that there was too much quality art assets to justify making a game as small as originally intended for the jam.

It was eventually decided that the game would move from a free game to a commercially sold one. The old art was retroactively paid for and plans began to launch a crowd funding campaign with hopes of raising enough money to create even more assets to finish the game, once and for all. Now, our team has finally managed to come together again and we have all begun working on the game together, for the first time in nearly four years.

New sprites, new CGs and new backgrounds are all in the works. Of course, our artists have all improved on their craft since 2016, so some art is being remade to maintain a high level of consistancy. The MonoGame written engine behind the game has greatly matured since its state in 2016, much of it having been rewritten and optimized and now has a team of beta testers. The story is being fleshed out and rewritten to accommodate the game's larger scope and the game's mechanics are starting to be finalized.

You can get digital copies of the game through a variety of different perks that you can back the game with. There are many perks that come with multiple copies of the game that you can share with a friend, a long with a lot of other perks that can get you some cool stuff. All keys will be redeemable right here, on Itch.io, where we will be launching exclusively.
